Artist Coreen Steinbach works from her studio near Syracuse, NY. Her paintings are characterized by a colorful, impressionistic style and encompasses a wide range of subject matter including the figure, still life and landscape. She specializes in sports related artwork as well family and corporate portraiture. Her work also includes architectural rendering as well as interior and exterior murals.
Her work has won numerous awards and is represented in collections internationally. She illustrated a children's book published by Breakaway Books entitled "My Dad is an Ironman".
Coreen is an avid runner and competes at the National and World Level. She won two silver and one bronze medals at the 2008 World Indoor Track Championships in Claremont-Ferrand, France. She is the 400 meter National Indoor Champion for both 2008 and 2009. She also won two silver medals at the National Indoor Championships in Landover, MD in 2009. She was named Honorable Mention National Masters Runner of the Year by Running Times magazine for 2007 and 2008.
